About The Team
Founded in 2003, the team won the Lotus Roadsport Series in its first year
with a highly developed Lotus Sport Elise.
A year later Cadena won the 2004 British GT Cup Class Dunlop Superpole
Award at their first attempt and claimed 3 race wins, 4 podiums and
majority fastest race laps.
In 2004 the team thoroughly reworked a Lotus Motorsport Elise, making it
the most advanced example of its type in the world.
In 2005, the team raced a Mosler MT900R and, amongst other results, won the
Inaugural Tag Heuer GT250 race at the launch of the world wide A1GP Series.
Other results included a win in a one off return to the Lotus Roadsport Series,
in a Lotus built by the team.
2006 heralded a return to Lotus, with the team winning the British GT
Championship, with a dominant display against such marques as Ferrari and Porsche.
2007 was a learning year for the team, taking delivery of a brand new
Aston Martin DBRS9. Highlights include a front row qualifying spot at Thruxton.
In 2008 the team will run its DBRS9 in the full British GT Championship
season, but this time it will be power by bio-ethanol fuel. Drivers will
be Gavan Kershaw and Barrie Whight. The team will also contest Group C
races with Paul Whight taking to the track in AMR1 chassis no.5, thought
to be the most important AMR1 chassis ever built.
